Light

Pilea Peperomioides prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate some shade. Direct sunlight can burn its leaves, so it's best to place it in a location that receives filtered light or partial shade. Avoid placing it in a spot with low light, as this can cause the plant to become leggy and lose its compact shape.

Water

Pilea Peperomioides prefers to be kept evenly moist, but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering, and ensure that the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating at the bottom. Overwatering can cause root rot, so it's important to avoid leaving the plant sitting in standing water. Watering once a week is typically sufficient, but this may vary depending on the size of the plant and the environmental conditions.

Growing Media

Pilea Peperomioides thrives in well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. A soil mix that contains peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite is ideal for this plant. It's important to avoid using heavy, compacted soil that can hold too much water and cause root rot. Additionally, it's important to ensure that the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating at the bottom.

    Plant is dead

Finally getting around to writing a review, the plant was delivered in bad condition with barely 3-4 leaves. Even after a week, the condition didn't improve & the plant died. It's exuberantly priced for a plant with 3-4 leaves. Money wasted.

    New leaves coming out

My pilea is doing ok till now. It had a baby pilea when it came (thanks to soiled in team :)). Its been 2 weeks and new leaves are coming out which is sign of healthy plant. Also, I haven't repotted it to save it from unnecessary shock and adapting to new conditions. I'm going to keep it like that for a while.
