The Alocasia Bambino (Bambino Arrowhead) is a striking, dramatic jewel Alocasia prized for its sharp, architectural lines. A miniature relative of the popular Alocasia 'Polly', this compact variety features narrow, sword-shaped leaves of deep emerald to near-black, heavily contrasted by bold, glowing white veins and rich purple undersides.

Caution: Toxic to Pets
Like all Alocasias, the Bambino contains calcium oxalate crystals. Chewing or ingesting the leaves or stems can cause mouth irritation and stomach distress in dogs and cats. Keep this plant safely out of reach of pets.
Light

Requires bright, indirect, filtered light. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun, which will quickly scorch the dark velvet leaves and bleach out the striking white veins. Low light will slow growth and cause the stems to become weak and leggy.
Watering

Allow the top 50% of the soil mix to dry out completely before watering thoroughly. Jewel Alocasias store moisture in their thick stems and are highly sensitive to overwatering and root rot. Never leave the pot sitting in stagnant water.
Humidity & Soil

Thrives in high humidity (60%+). Use an open, ultra-chunky aroid mix composed of potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, and charcoal to ensure maximum oxygen reach to the root system right after deep watering cycles.
