Allow the top 50% of the potting medium to dry out fully before providing a thorough deep soak. Alocasias store moisture efficiently within their thick, fleshy stems and are highly sensitive to stagnant water and root rot. Ensure your container drains away excess water instantly.

Thrives beautifully in elevated humidity environments (55% or higher) to keep its massive leaves looking pristine and free of crispy edges. Always pot it in a highly aerated, ultra-chunky aroid mix combining rich soil amended heavily with orchid bark, perlite, and coarse horticultural charcoal.
