The Alocasia zebrina 'Black Stem' is an extraordinary cultivated variety of the beloved Alocasia zebrina. It stands out with its jet-black petioles and veins, a result of enhanced anthocyanin pigment expression. These dark, striking features beautifully contrast with its signature arrowhead-shaped leaves, which can grow up to 60 cm long and are held nearly vertical.
