Philodendron Mamei (Silver Cloud)
Philodendron Mamei (Silver Cloud)
The truly stunning and magnificent philodendron mamei is a creeping aroid that produces large heart-shaped leaves with a striking silver variegation.
The silver markings are what makes this plant so unusual – they look like streaks that have been painted by hand!
You’ll also notice that the leaves have an unusual ridged texture and the petiole, the part that connects the stem with the leaf is a deep maroon red.

Water your philodendron deeply and then allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out before watering again. Water until it runs out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot.

A good potting mix for philodendron plants should be well-draining, rich in organic material, and slightly acidic. Some gardeners recommend a mix of two parts peat moss, two parts potting soil, and one part perlite or sand. For increased drainage, you can also add a few handfuls of pumice or organic matter such as compost or worm castings.

I regularly ordered from this site there plants are amazing but the packaging and shipment is horrible and causes severe damage to plants. Inspite of repeated complaint, experience remained same.
Was anxious about the plant, as the courier has tossed the plant a lot. But I must say after almost a month, the plant has given a lovely leaf and another on its way. I am so excited now.
However, the response to queries deserves a big zero... Not only was the response delayed, the response received was also of someone else's order. Please take care of the human error.
I purchased this along with Begonia Maculata, and super impressed by the service and the plants.
