Water

20–30% Perlite/Pumice: Improves drainage and aeration.

10–20% Vermicompost/Compost: Provides slow-release nutrients.

Optional: A handful of horticultural charcoal for added root health. This mix supports healthy, lush foliage and prevents rot in warm, humid indoor environments.
Feeding & Fertilization

ZZ plants are low-maintenance and slow growers, requiring minimal feeding. Use a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer (like 10:10:10) once every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring to early autumn). Alternatively, mix a small amount of vermicompost or compost into the soil once every 2–3 months.

Very different from what is shown. Holes in few leaves. Few leaves are of dark green color rather than black.

Among all my orders, only the zz plant arrived in proper condition. Probably because it's a sturdier plant than the rest. Ordered for the small one and was pleased to receive a not so small plant with many stems and a good size rootball.
