The Alocasia Regal Shield is a stunning hybrid between Alocasia Reginula 'Black Velvet' and Alocasia Odora. It combines the velvety texture of Reginula with the large, striking foliage of Odora. The matte, dark green leaves are accented by bold, light green veining, while the undersides feature a muted deep red hue, adding to its dramatic appeal. This plant thrives in bright indirect light, which means it needs a well-lit space without harsh direct sunlight. Ideal locations include east or north-facing windows, or spots near south or west-facing windows with filtered light through a sheer curtain to protect its foliage.

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Avoid overwatering & ensure pots have drainage holes. Frequency may vary with season and light, roughly once every 5–10 days.

Avoid overfeeding, as Alocasias are sensitive to salt buildup—flush the soil every few months with plain water. Reduce or pause feeding in winter when the plant goes semi-dormant.
