Conophytum plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight and moderate temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C). They should be placed in a spot that receives at least 4-6 hours of indirect sunlight per day, such as near a window facing east or west.

When it comes to watering, Conophytum plants should be watered sparingly, as they are adapted to survive in arid environments. Water them only when the soil has completely dried out, and avoid getting water on the leaves or stem, as this can cause them to rot. During the winter months, when the plants are dormant, they should be watered even less frequently, as they need less water during this time. Overwatering is the most common cause of death in Conophytum plants, so it's important to be careful not to water them too often.
Growing Media
Growing Media
Conophytum plants require well-draining soil that allows excess water to flow away quickly. A mix of one part peat moss, one part perlite, and one part coarse sand or pumice is a good choice for growing Conophytum. Alternatively, you can also use a cactus mix that is available in the market. It is important to make sure the soil is dry between watering to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
