Hoya Carnosa has long slender vines covered with waxy, deep green leathery leaves.It is one of the most commonly grown houseplants also known as the Porcelain flower plant, wax plant, or honey plant.

Size: 5 inches to 6 inches as in the photo.

Pot Size: Grown in 4 inches plastic Pot.

Watering

Only after Soil dries completely (don't keep the soil wet for a long time).

Potting Mix

40% Potting Soil + 25% cocopeat + 25% Organic manure/Vermicompost + 5% charcoal chips + 5% perlite.

Light

Indoor in medium to high indirect light with Good natural Air Circulation / Ventilation.

Initial Care (After receiving the plant)

  • Leave the plant in its nursery pot for a day. if the soil is looking dry and leaves are drooping, water the plant and keep in a shady location for a day.
  • If the plant received with rootball, repot the received plant in a 5 to 7-inch pot with good soil media.

    Why florist’s foam?

    The plant I received is healthy, however while repotting noticed that the plant is rooted in florist foam. Why? I have tried my level best to remove those as much as possible. Hope it doesn’t cause any damage to the otherwise healthy plant in future.

    Hoya planted in sponge?? Why?

    I received the plant planted in sponge and coco peat. Also this hoya does not have any specals on it.
    Though the plant looks good but potting material is really bad. Disappointed!

    Healthy thick plant received

    Very healthy bushy plant received in very good condition. Packed very well. I'm so happy to have this beautiful plant. I am waiting to transfer it to a bigger hanging pot. Grateful for the potting instructions.
