The Leggy Cane Planter is designed for the plants that deserve to be seen. Its tall cane legs lift your pot off the floor and into the room — creating space, shadow, and that effortless, airy look that no ground-level planter can replicate. Handcrafted in Assam from sustainably sourced natural cane, each planter is made by local artisans whose craft has shaped this material for generations. The result is a planter that is genuinely lightweight, genuinely strong, and genuinely one-of-a-kind — the slight variations in weave and form that come with every handmade piece are what give it character.
Works beautifully with trailing plants, large leafy aroids, and any statement pot that deserves a better view.

Care Instructions
Regular Cleaning
▾
Dust the planter with a soft cloth or brush weekly to prevent build-up in the weave. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe along the cane weave — never soak. A vacuum with a soft brush attachment works well for removing dust from crevices. Allow to air dry completely before placing a pot back inside.
Avoid Moisture
▾
Natural cane and sustained moisture are not friends. Keep the planter away from excessive humidity, direct rain, and outdoor exposure during the monsoon season. Always use a pot with a drainage saucer inside — never allow water to pool at the base of the planter. Wipe any spills or drips immediately with a dry cloth. If the cane gets wet, move to a ventilated spot and allow to dry completely.
Sunlight Protection
▾
Prolonged exposure to harsh direct sunlight will cause the natural cane to fade and dry out over time. Position the planter in bright indoor spaces away from direct afternoon sun. If placed near a window, use a sheer curtain to filter the light. The protective varnish finish helps, but indoor positioning is the best long-term protection.
