Difficulty: Easy

Light:

This plant thrives in bright indirect light, which means it needs a well-lit space without harsh direct sunlight. Ideal locations include east or north-facing windows, or spots near south or west-facing windows with filtered light through a sheer curtain to protect its foliage.

Water:

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Avoid overwatering & ensure pots have drainage holes. Frequency may vary with season and light, roughly once every 5–10 days.

Growing Media:

30–40% Coco Coir/Peat Moss: For moisture retention.
20–30% Perlite/Pumice: Ensures excellent drainage and aeration.
20–30% Orchid Bark (small): Promotes airflow and mimics natural conditions.
10–20% Vermicompost/Compost: Provides slow-release nutrients.

Optional: A handful of horticultural charcoal for added benefit. This blend supports healthy roots and prevents rot in our high humidity.

Feeding & Fertilization:

For these plants, use a balanced liquid fertilizer (like 20-20-20 or 10-10-10) diluted to half strength every 2–4 weeks during the growing season. They prefer light, consistent feeding over heavy applications. A slow-release fertilizer at the start of spring can also support healthy growth. In winter, pause feeding as these plants enter a resting phase.

Slightly dissapointed

I received a small plant with severe damage to the leaves. 5 of the 8 leaves were crushed and broken, I had to cut them off. The packaging was completely crushed and the delivery person was holding the crushed box and handed me the plant. The plant was so loose in the pot it was falling out of the pot - I had to re-pot immediately. I hope Soiled improves the quality of their packing, as these plants are not cheap and receiving them damaged is very heartbreaking. They should also inform their delivery partner these are live plants and to be handled with care.

Beautiful and Healthy plant

The plant delivered was as shown - very healthy. The packing was great in that it did not disturb the.plant at all. The plant is doing well.Very Happy with the purchase.

Received plant with ok status. Not sure if it will survive

1. Even though the packing seems good, the plant & pot suffered moderate damage during shipping. Within on week most of the leaves became yellow and started falling down. Fortunately, new leave has started growing. Hope to see this plant survive. Other than this, all other plants received without any damage.
2. With initial delay to start shipping the order, I was a bit concern with this purchase, however once the delivery done, could track the consignment and reached within 4 days.

Healthy plant

I received a healthy plant in a nursery pot. I'm very happy with this purchase.

My first philodendron

The plant was in very healthy condition. Lots of leaves. Although few dried out while adjusting to my home condition but no complaints.
