The Anthurium (Doc Block F2 × Silver Blush) is an elite, connoisseur-grade hybrid that unites two of the most celebrated bloodlines in contemporary aroid breeding. Combining the legendary dark velvet pigmentation and heavy sinus architecture of Doc Block breeding with the wide, shimmering crystalline veins of Silver Blush, this cross is a masterclass in texture and form.

Each cordate leaf emerges in dramatic shades of deep crimson, copper-bronze, or near-black before hardening into a dark, light-trapping velvet shield. As the leaf matures, an intricate network of sparkling silver venation expands outward from the central ribs, creating a luminous "blushing" effect against the obsidian canvas.

Expanded Crystalline Silver Veination Inheriting the best of its Silver Blush parentage, the silver venation on this cross is thick, heavy, and crystalline. Under ambient light, the silvery bands glitter and wash across the dark velvet leaf surface with multidimensional depth.
Doc Block Pedigree & Dark Emergent Drama Doc Block genetics impart exceptional substance, round overlapping lobes, and intense emergent leaf pigmentation. Every newly unfurling blade delivers a breathtaking flush of rich red-to-plum color before transitioning to dark forest velvet.
Caution: Toxic to Pets Like all premium members of the Anthurium genus, this plant contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals. Chewing or ingesting any part of the leaves or stems will cause immediate oral burning, swelling, and sharp digestive discomfort in dogs and cats. Keep it safely elevated out of reach.

Light

Requires consistent, bright indirect filtered light. Generous ambient lighting fuels rapid leaf development and maximizes the contrast and width of the silver crystalline veining. Protect it strictly from direct afternoon sun to prevent scorching the delicate velvet surface.

Watering

Allow the top 40% to 50% of the potting medium to dry out slightly before providing a thorough, deep drench. Its thick, fleshy root system requires ample oxygen and will deteriorate in stagnant, waterlogged soil. Always ensure excess water drains freely from the base.

Soil & Humidity

Thrives best in high-humidity environments (65% or higher) to ensure new velvety leaves emerge cleanly without tearing or sticking. Pot it in an ultra-chunky, fast-draining aroid mix composed of coarse orchid bark, perlite, horticultural charcoal, tree fern fiber, and coco chips.
