Measure and prepare the potting soil base (such as coco peat, garden soil, or compost).
Add Carbonized Rice Hull to the potting mix at a proportion of about 10–50% by volume, depending on the plant's aeration and drainage needs.
Thoroughly mix the CRH with the potting soil to create a loose, well-aerated growing medium.
Use this mix to pot houseplants such as succulents, orchids, ferns, or other indoor plants that prefer well-draining soil.
When repotting or planting, fill the pot with the prepared mix, ensuring roots get good contact but not compacted soil.
Water the plant as usual; the CRH helps retain moisture without causing waterlogging.
Optionally, apply a thin layer of CRH as top mulch to help with moisture retention and slow nutrient release.
Reapply or amend the potting mix with fresh CRH when repotting or roughly every 6–12 months to maintain soil quality.
