Potting Guide: Leave the Plug Intact!
When potting your combo on arrival, do not strip away or peel the coco fiber mesh surrounding the roots. It is completely breathable and root-permeable. Simply nestle the entire plug directly into a loose, airy potting mix.
Light & Flowering

Requires bright, indirect, dappled light. Adequate ambient light is absolutely critical to trigger the pink and white lipstick blossoms. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which will scorch the waxy leaves, and avoid deep shade, which stops flower production entirely.
Watering

Allow the top 30-50% of the potting medium to dry out before watering thoroughly. While the coco plug retains excellent, uniform moisture around the core, these epiphytes hate waterlogged conditions. Ensure your pot drains freely.
Soil & Humidity
▾
Thrives beautifully in moderate to high humidity (50%+). When repotting your coco plugs, use an open, highly porous orchid or aroid-style mix containing plenty of orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss to keep the roots perfectly aerated.
