The Neolepisorus truncates is an extraordinary type of epiphytic fern, originating from southern China's limestone cliffs and north Vietnam at an elevation of approximately 5,000 feet. Its stiff rhizome grows horizontally just beneath the soil surface, giving rise to thick, leathery leaves that are about 8 inches tall and spaced every few inches. These leaves have a distinctive appearance, resembling a tongue that has licked a green and yellow striped popsicle, creating a surreal visual effect.

As a container or hanging basket plant, the Neolepisorus truncatus 'Lemon Lime' is a perfect choice. It can thrive in these settings and adds a unique touch to any home decor.
