Philodendron ‘Hastatum’, also known as Silver Sword Philodendron, has silver almost mirror-like looking foliage. As the plant matures, the leaves become arrow shaped

Watering	Only after Soil dries completely (don't keep the soil wet for a long time).
Potting Mix	30% Potting Soil + 35% cocopit + 25% Organic manure/Vermicompost + 5% charcoal chips + 5% perlite.
Light	Indoor in medium to high indirect light with Good natural Air Circulation / Ventilation.

Initial Care (After receiving the plant)

Leave the plant in its nursery pot for a day. if the soil is looking dry and leaves are drooping, water the plant and keep in a shady location for a day.
If the plant received with rootball, repot the received plant in 5 to 7-inch pot with good soil media.

Light:

This plant thrives in bright indirect light, which means it needs a well-lit space without harsh direct sunlight. Ideal locations include east or north-facing windows, or spots near south or west-facing windows with filtered light through a sheer curtain to protect its foliage.

Water:

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Avoid overwatering & ensure pots have drainage holes. Frequency may vary with season and light, roughly once every 5–10 days.

Growing Media:

30–40% Coco Coir/Peat Moss: For moisture retention.
20–30% Perlite/Pumice: Ensures excellent drainage and aeration.
20–30% Orchid Bark (small): Promotes airflow and mimics natural conditions.
10–20% Vermicompost/Compost: Provides slow-release nutrients.

Optional: A handful of horticultural charcoal for added benefit. This blend supports healthy roots and prevents rot in our high humidity.
